I like facebook - but i dont like it to that extent that i check it every day.. In fact , the last time i used it was about 6 months ago. I guess i just got bored of it.
I logged in again for the first time in 6 months this evening and theres a huge pot pourri of old friends and cousins sending me friend messages... awesome. And some of the old friends and relatives I haven't met for years.
Well, its more of an impact if you dont log in for 6 months. Having that sort of collection of long lost friends and relatives in a neat facebook message queue is kind of awesome.
Next time, i think i'll take a break for a year and then pop in. 1st of December 2009 next time?

Anyway, about Facebook. I just went off about that on my blog. It was a good idea, but really people don't get into conversations that much. Short comments and such, but nothing to really go on about. I felt that way so I put together a group blog here in blogger (http://wiselyweird.blogspot.com/) so that people could write long enough posts for others to get into.
If you like the "idea" of facebook, but are bored because it ...is boring, you might put together a group blog with your friends and cousins, etc. Just a thought. Seems to be working for me.
