Torvalds, Widenius,Lerdorf say no to software patents
Linux Torvalds (Linux creator), Rasmus Lerdorf (PHP) and Michael Widenius (MySQL) have posted a statement addressed to the EU Council regarding their opposition to the proposed software patents directive, calling it undemocratic and against the interests of the European economy.
